It was a pub called the Mill Tavern in Cwmbran, and the National Giant Vegetable Championships had to move venue in the mid-80s as the pumpkins started getting too big to fit through the doors.

Other times Mill Tavern came up
Sorry, I just find that so funny. Do we know how big the doors were? It was a pub, it was called the Mill Tavern, it's in Cumbrand and so it's a proper double swinging door and in the mid-80s, yeah, they had to move it and then it moved to the Cumbrand Working Men's Club which presumably just had bigger doors. Where is Cumbrand, sorry? It's in South Wales.
