The National Museum of Archaeology is a archaeology museum in Madrid, Spain. It is located on Calle de Serrano beside the Plaza de Colón, sharing its building with the National Library of Spain. It is one of the National Museums of Spain and it is attached to the Ministry of Culture.
On the show
This was a project done between the Spanish National Museum of Archaeology and one of the university hospitals — they wanted to scan three of the mummies that they had, trying to identify who they were. They had to map out a specific route from the museum to the hospital so that they went on roads that had no bumps on them so that they didn't damage the mummy.
