The lyrics of Silent Night were written by a guy called Joseph Moore, who was a priest in Salzburg. In 1912 the Austrian authorities decided they wanted a memorial for the two writers, but there were no paintings of Moore because he hated having his painting done, so to get a sculpture they dug up his grave and took out his skull.

Other times Salzburg came up
Silent Night was written by Hans Gruber. Yeah. He wrote it at the Nakatomi Plaza building. The guy who wrote silent night apparently did it because the organ was broken and he needed an emergency to come up with the tune in time for Christmas. I think he was near Salzburg. So he was a vicar, wasn't he? Or a priest and he went to this church. He was working in this church.

Hey, why don't we get more facts? James? Here's one from Harrison Lee. Harrison Lee writes that I am currently vacationing in Salzburg, Austria, the birthplace of Mozart, and learned that Mozart chocolate has nothing to do with Mozart. The chocolate was invented 100 years after his death. Further, the most commonly sold Mozart chocolate is made by a German company, Riba. Wait, are they suggesting that as well as composing amazing tunes, Mozart started a line of chocolate?
