The Sargasso Sea is a region of the Atlantic Ocean bounded by four currents forming an ocean gyre. It is the only named sea without land boundaries. It is distinguished from other parts of the Atlantic Ocean by its characteristic brown Sargassum seaweed and calm blue waters.

There was one, there was one Danish scientist who spent 15 years of his career looking in the Mid-Atlantic for seven millimeter long larvae. He never dead. But that, I mean, it does feel like he's not done a very good job. You surely look for the bigger ones on their way back to the Sargasso Sea. You would look at the spawn and then you'd keep looking at it at earlier and earlier times. Then look at the bigger ones at later at later times.

The population decline is amazing. There are temporary bands that have been put in place in the UK. It's lots to do with dredging of the ocean as well. This really just decimates the population. They hatch in the Sargasso Sea, which is West Indies way, Bermuda. It's like north. It's not a sea. It's a portion of the North Atlantic, isn't it?
