It extends from the River Thames to Oxford Street and has many famous landmarks, including the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and much of the West End cultural centre including the entertainment area of West End theatre.

Oh, everyone was so embarrassed all the time. His funeral was a ticketed event because he was so popular. I think it was, yeah, it was Westminster Abbey where his funeral was held. They got over a thousand applications and the dean of Westminster wrote saying everyone has been trying to get into Browning's funeral. I've had to really limit it to people who had a really good reason to be there.

Is it, I think I read this too long ago to be absolutely sure of it now, but basically this was quite underpopulated bit of London because there were two main bits of London, which were Westminster, the seat of power, and then there was the city, which is over further east, and actually the bit in between was not really populated at all.
